Many must be familiar with Apple's SDK emulator for iOS devices which only emulates into API level. From @cmw, developer of the original WinPwn tool, is soon to come a virtual emulator of iPhone, iPad and iPod
touch for Windows and Mac.
While work on iEMU is still underway, prominent member of the iPhone Dev Team, @MuscleNerd has sung praises of the yet to come iEMU virtual emulator for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
The reason why iEMU may be such a big hit, is for the fact that it is going to emulate the device as deep as the kernel itself, which means that it is going to be a lot easier for dev teams to find exploits, as they will be fully in control of the virtual emulator as well.
