Is Apple Going To Change iPad 2 LED Backlight Manufacturer?

The iPad 2 is no doubt a phenomenal device which has not ceased to amaze us at any level. So for Apple's products to be continuously dominant in the market, Apple needs to makes sure that it provides its customers with the best that there is. Looks like Apple may add another LED backlight manufacturer for iPad 2 which
happens to be a company that has excelled in this field.
The company is called Everlight and word is that they have already sent LED backlight samples over to Apple for verification purposes. The technology that this company has produced is said to be bright at an astonishing 2,000 millicandelas or mcd. Everlight has been a prominent LED backlight maker for tablets since March 2011.

However, it is not yet known whether this LED technology is more advanced or better than the one found in current shipments. Will Apple quietly make the shift to this new LED backlight technology in the iPad just as it jumped from slower Toshiba SSDs to faster Samsung SSDs in latest shipments of Macbook Air?

If so, why does Apple try to make its product better once it has already been launched? I'm sure those with older and slower Toshiba SSDs won't be pleased with the fact that their Macbook Airs are now, in a way, outdated. Will that be the same case with our iPads? Let us know your thoughts, in the comments below.
