Jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 iPhone, iPad, iPod touch Via Redsn0w

You can now download iOS 4.3.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. However, whenever there is a new firmware release, the first question that pops up in everyone's mind is that whether or not that particular firmware upgrade is jailbreakable? In the case of iOS 4.3.2, PwnageTool 4.3 bundles have already managed to tethered jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 on iDevices. However, people are claiming that you can jailbreak iOS 4.3.2, albeit tethered,
using the latest release of redsn0w, which is redsn0w 0.9.6rc12.

However, keep in mind that if you jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 with redsn0w 0.9.6rc12, it will only be a tethered jailbreak. If you don't want to part with your iOS 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak, its better that you wait for an update of jailbreak tools. How To Jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 Using Redsn0w


Step 1:


Download iOS 4.3.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch


Download iTunes 10.2.1


Download redsn0w 0.9.6rc12


Step 2: Restore your device to stock iOS 4.3.2 using iTunes. Once done, Fire up redsn0w 0.9.6rc12 . Here's the tricky part. When redsn0w asks you to point it in the direction of the firmware ipsw corresponding to the firmware on your device, you point it towards iOS 4.3.1 ipsw rather than the iOS 4.3.2 ipsw.

Step 3: Redsn0w will then recognize the specified ipsw. Click next and then check Install Cydia, leave out the other options for now.

Step 4: Redsn0w will now prompt you to power off and plug in your iDevice, so that it can show you instructions for putting your iDevice in DFU mode. Follow the onscreen instructions shown by redsn0w to put your device in DFU mode.

    Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
    Now, Hold Power and Home button together for 10 seconds
    Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button until the installation starts


Step 5: That’s all! Redsn0w will now do the rest of the work needed to jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 tethered on your device. Once the automated steps have completed, your device will then reboot, and you will have your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running tethered jailbroken iOS 4.3.2.

There are not many surprises here as we know that a tethered jailbreak is actually a hardware exploit. The real question is, whether or not there is an untethered jailbreak exploit for iOS 4.3.2. Don't worry if you see a blank Cydia icon the first time your device reboots when tethered jailbroken on iOS 4.3.2. An update in Cydia will take care of this problem.
